Installing EPoS Systems

We can install and configure your Bar, Restaurant or Retail EPoS System in as little as 7 hours. There are a few factors to consider when performing an installation when estimating installation times. For example, if there are already network cables installed then this will speed up the process - as will building features like well placed access panels.

The usual procedure is to perform a pre installation check of the premises, then draw up a plan for the EPoS Installation Date. Primarily we will start off by installing and configuring the EPoS Tills and PoS Server offsite. This includes setting up the menu for the PoS Systems, as well as other features such as user/staff names and roles.

When we come on site, the first actions are to set up the network and server. This is then tested using state of the art network and testing the network system tools, until we are satisfied with the data transfer rate for the EPoS terminals. We will then make sure your internet connection is accessible from outside so we can perform any remote connections to assist in any changes you need to the system over time.

We will then install the PoS Tills and Printers onto the network. This includes drilling the drawer mounting and brackets into place and testing all of the equipment.

After further diagnostic steps we will configure the back up utility on the server, and the system will be ready for staff training.
